Rush Dumped from Consortium Seeking to Buy NFL St. Louis Rams

The blowhard should have never announced that he was in play to buy the team.

In essence, the erstwhile right-wing commentator became an immediate lightning rod for controversy for his would-be partners. He was bad for business! However, the only person Rush really has to blame is Rush Limbaugh and his blatant racism.

When 70% of the National Football League is black, and Rush compares all of the players to being the Crips and the Bloods; or when he says that Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb is only being spotlighted because “liberal” white sportscasters or sports reporters are impressed by his color and not because he’s good, Rush only has to look at the man in the mirror. We’ve known Rush’s modus and those of his apologists for quite a while, and we aren’t fooled.

And as far as Al Sharpton (or Jesse Jackson) is concerned, even a stopped clock is right once a day.

High-tech lynching, huh? Remember when that term was used? When Unca Clarence was nominated for his Supreme Court seat. Now it’s being used again to belabor those who opposed Rush’s bid. I fail to see the connection, except that both are right-wing conservatives, and that both have had woman problems. One went to the Supreme Court, and the other is just wanting to buy a football team. But Rush deserves no pity, concern or sympathy for what has occurred. And black people now realize that supporting a brother just because he’s black definitely has its drawbacks.

Rush can keep his money. It’s the only thing that will keep him warm.

One Response to “Rush Dumped from Consortium Seeking to Buy NFL St. Louis Rams”

  1. It seems to me that all the negative vibes this blowhard (Rush Hudson Limbaugh A.KA. Jeff Christie) has been spewing over these many years has come back to blow back on his face (A classic “Blow Back”). He always tries to give off the airs that he can have anything he wants but as we all witness those with more money and influence tossed him aside like sack of potatoes and the ultimate insult was that it was done in public (money don’t buy you everything butterball).

Now of course he blames everyone else (Michael J. Fox, Perez Hilton, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Sonia Sotomayor, Hillary Clinton, Olympia Snowe, ESPN, NFL, the media, basically people of color, women and gays) when of course all you have to do is listen to his show and plainly hear his daily prejudices filled sermons. So NFL, I salute you decision, job well done. And to the whaling cry baby perched on his self made pedestal, quit your whining it was your own fault. Don’t we all feel better?
