This is one of my favorite Martin Luther King, Jr. speeches. The other is Drum Major for Peace.
This speech has a lot of relevance today. It was King’s break with Lyndon Johnson over The Vietnam War at the Riverside Church in 1967; it was the moment where he transcended being just a civil rights leader, and became a human rights leader amid the violence of a difficult era.
Don’t just enjoy. Do something. Do something for peace. Right now and always.
