BREAKING: A Verdict Has Been Reached in the Oscar Grant-Johannes Mehserle Case

I don’t know whether this is good news or bad:

Reports out of Los Angeles say jurors have reached a verdict on the killing of Oscar Grant, an unarmed passenger who was shot by San Francisco-area transit cop Johannes Mehserle, who has since left the force. The verdict is to be announced at 7 p.m. ET.

Jurors had four options: second-degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter or acquittal, the San Francisco Chronicle writes. The Oakland Tribune reports that the verdict was reached after 6 1/2 hours of deliberations.

  1. For those who want to engage in peaceful protest, this is what they should learn (New Liability For Police Abuse), and then this is how that should respond in order to protest (How To File A Complaint Against Police Abuse) >>> <<>> <<<

  2. I see there were no African Americans on the jury. hope Oakland doesn’t break out in riots. . .
