Bobbi Kristina, Daughter of Whitney and Bobby Brown, Photographed Allegedly Snorting Coke

Somehow, this news doesn’t surprise me. I saw the previous photos of her hard partying, and thought that it was only a matter of time. Both Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown need to do some serious intervention with their daughter so that she doesn’t turn out like they did. Wrong is simply wrong. She needs a wake-up call, and while she is 18, she is still not grown in my humble opinion.

Now Bobbi Kristina is trying to fob off responsibility for her behavior on someone whom she previously trusted who took the shots.  Um, girl, you didn’t just pose for those pictures. You were definitely doing something, and it may have been a couple of lines. Stop with the conspiracy theories.

According to the National Enquirer who obtained the pictures, she was snapped using the drug at two different parties.

The article [says] that she regularly indulges in marijuana and ‘guzzles beer and gets smashed on Everclear, a potent grain alcohol.’

A former boyfriend of Kristina went to the magazine with the claims.

He said that Brown admitted that she is becoming like her mother Whitney, who has had her own past problems with substance abuse.

Past troubles: Whitney has  admitted to doing cocaine during an interview in 2009 with Oprah Winfrey.

‘Krissi is addicted to cocaine. I’ve tried to stop her, but all she said was, ‘I’m just like my mother!”‘ he told the magazine.

He alleges that the teen is addicted to the drug and claims to have witnessed her out of control behaviour at one of the parties.

‘Krissi was pretty wired. I also saw her kiss a man and drink a 40-ounce bottle of Budweiser,’ he said.

‘Whitney needs to see what her daughter is doing to herself. If Krissi doesn’t stop soon, this addiction to cocaine will kill her!’

The usual overstated Enquirer prose with the unnamed source and exclamation points, but it’s still dismaying news.

In response, Bobbi Kristina tweeted her fans on the subject.

The pictures_a former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like. God will smite them yes…But it’s really not what it looks like…People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this…Thing’s (sic) people do these days to hurt others is a shame. All I can do now, is keep my head up high, keep looking towards the lord…All the lord is telling me is be still. That’s all, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Be still…I love my family so much. My mom just comforted me to the max, and I’m so thankful for her. Thank you so much lord for blessing me with an Phenomenal (sic) family and incredibly phenomenal mother. Thank you for giving me the strength to move forward and put things in the past…I’m following my mothers (sic) footsteps industry wise. My family is great and I know I will overcome this and succeed. This is all I’m gonna say.

So…the b*tch set her up? Please. And the parts about divine retribution striking that person who clicked the photos and gave them to The Enquirer?  And the chest beating about leaving it to de Lawd?  Um, BK, don’t you have things a bit turned around here? Seems like karma hit you where the sun don’t shine in order for you to stop your life from going down the drain.

I don’t like how this appears. That Whitney comforted her? You mean enabled her, right? The hell with trying to be her BFF, Whitney. Parents naturally flip out when they hear that their son or daughter is doing drugs, and this news between the lines sounds like Whitney was being too casual about the incident. Which makes me wonder whether Whitney herself has relapsed.

Bobbi Kristina may have inherited her mother’s pipes, but that will mean little if she also inherits her propensity for doing drugs and running her talent and career into the ground.
